Every Blotch account is on Free or Pro. Your plan decides how many Virtual Frames you can have, how many Pages each Frame can show, how many Widgets each Page can hold, and how often your Frames can refresh.

Free

Every account starts on Free. You can try Blotch with one Virtual Frame and one Page.

With a Blotch Smart Frame

Registering a Blotch Smart Frame to your account gives you up to 5 Virtual Frames and 3 Pages on every Frame, at no extra cost. You get the same when someone makes you an Admin of their Blotch Smart Frame. Being able to edit or view someone else's Blotch Smart Frame doesn't count.

You keep these extras for as long as you own a Blotch Smart Frame.

If you had a Blotch Smart Frame before plans began, you keep these extras even if you no longer own it, and your Frames can still refresh as often as every 10 minutes, as they always could.

Pro

Pro is a monthly subscription. It gives you Private Widgets, refreshes as often as every 10 minutes, the most Virtual Frames and Pages, and as many Widgets on each Page as you like. See Pro to find out more.

Patron

You become a Patron when your monthly sponsorships of creators add up to £50 or more a month. It counts every creator you sponsor. One-off sponsorships don't count.

Which plan you're on

You always get the best plan you qualify for. If you stop qualifying for a plan, you move to the next best one. For example, if you cancel Pro but own a Blotch Smart Frame, you go back to Free and keep your Blotch Smart Frame's extras.

How frames, pages and widgets are counted

• Pages are counted for each Frame on its own. Every Frame gets its own allowance.
• Blotch Smart Frames don't count towards your Virtual Frames.
• A Virtual Frame counts towards the plan of each of its Admins. Sharing it with someone who can only edit or view it doesn't use up their allowance.
• Widgets are counted for each Page on its own.
• On a Frame with more than one Admin, the Admin with the best plan decides how many Pages it can have, how many Widgets each Page can hold, and how often it can refresh.
• If you already have more Virtual Frames, Pages or Widgets than your plan allows, you keep them all. You just can't add more until you're under the limit, or until you get a plan with more.

1. Go to the Console
2. Choose the gear beside the frame selector at the top right, then My Account Settings
3. Choose the Membership & Support tab

Under Your plan, it shows which plan you're on and why.
