Self-Hosting

You can host your own instance of the Blotch servers so that the Blotch Smart Frame can connect to your Local Area Network (LAN) instead of the Blotch servers. This is useful if you want to use the Blotch Smart Frame without an internet connection, or have a use case where it isn't feasible connecting to our servers.

Requirements

  • A computer, Raspberry Pi or server which can run Docker
  • Docker installed on the computer or server
  • A domain name or static IP address
  • A little patience
